Queensland Laboratory Aquires MBR Environmental

On the 1st of June 2008, Queensland Laboratory announced the take over of Murwillumbah based environmental consultancy MBR Environmental. Having working on a number of combined projects with the highly skilled team from MBR, the board at Queensland Laboratory made the decision to aquire MBR Environmental www.mbrenvironmental.com.au in May of 2008.

After much negotiation, it was decided that MBR Environmental would retain its office in Murwillumbah in Northern NSW, but would also open an office in Qld adjacent to the Queensland Laboratory Hazchem facility. The aquisition of MBR Environmental has allowed Queensland Laboratory to add a number of core areas to our scope of services, namely Stormwater Design, Computer Modelling including MUSIC, Aquacycle, E2, CatchmentSIM, MEDLI, and custom numeric models and windows interfaces, and Marine and Freshwater Science.
