Queensland Laboratory Opens New Hazchem Facility

In January of 2008, Queensland Laboratory proudly opened the new Hazchem facility in Arundel Industrial Estate on the sunny Gold Coast. With a fully operational environmental and occupational laboratory, the new facility is state of the art and will allow the Gold Coast community to have access to emergency exposure testing equipment and also the 2nd unit on the Queensland Laboratory emergency response team.  The facility specialises in Air monitoring and airborne pollutants, exposure to hazardous materials, ambient air, odour assessment, environmental and occupational health consultin g and most areas of environmental management.
